Unpaid Wages
If your employer does not pay you overtime, minimum wages, or all of your wages upon quitting or being fired, he or she could face civil penalties, and may have to pay your attorney's fees if you are forced to sue to collect your pay!
If your employer does not pay you at least the minimum wage amount, you have a claim against your employer for unpaid wages. You could be owed back pay and interest. It is against the law for your employer to retaliate against you for making a claim for unpaid wages.
If your employer issues a dishonored ("bounced") check to you, you may have a claim against your employer that includes a penalty, plus interest on the bounced check amount.
Your employer may not make unauthorized deductions from your paycheck. If your employer does so, they are violating Oregon law
Your employer may not exclude you from overtime by paying you a salary and calling you a "vice president" or giving you some other fancy title.
